About Me...........

   I am a native of Columbia, South Carolina. Born and raised here in the

   State Capitol, I have come to appreciate the beauty of our state and

   the enormous variety of interesting places to photograph. In the early

   70's I began a career in broadcasting and held positions at 2 local

   television stations over a period of 10 years. Working in TV studio

   production, and later as a film director, I developed an appreciation

   for lighting and composition.



   My interest in still photography grew from a friendship with a

   co-worker who was a professional photographer. He introduced me to

   my first SLR camera. That was in 1974 and I have been taking

   pictures ever since.

    In the mid 90's digital photography became popular but the image

    quality could not really compete with that of color film. In recent

    years, however, technology has advanced to a point that digital

    photographs can compete with the highest quality films. I only use

    digital these days and can produce quality results with a twist of

    creativity using high level image editing software. I enjoy outdoor

    settings and my work reflects the great places in Columbia and

    through out our state that provide beautiful backdrops for my

    photographs.

    I like to get to know my clients interests and personalities so the

    images I produce for them reflect their unique character. If after

    consultation we both determine that I am right for your project, I

    will strive to give you quality results that will capture your images

    for years of great memories.
